The Gandolpho players and local schools: a summer medley

Wednesday 21st June at 7.30 pm

A very varied programme  by Purcell, Gibbons, Corelli and part of Handel’s Water Music suite. Senior music scholars from local schools present a varied programme of music including "The Skye Boat Song", a Brahms piano solo and "Something Wonderful" by Rogers and Hammerstein.

Gandolpho Players led by Eleanor Harrison, with pupils of St Crispin's, Luckley Oakfield and Ranelagh Schools

Karl Jenkins: The Armed Man

The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace was commissioned by the Royal Armouries to mark the transition from one millennium to another. It is dedicated to the victims of the Kosovo conflict, whose tragedy was unfolding as it was being composed.
